Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has shut down the anti-gas theft unit of the agency and transferred all the officers who carried out a raid on MNA Sardar Talib Nakai’s son’s factory for gas theft, reported 24News HD TV channel on Friday.

Last month the team raided a lime and plaster of paris manufacturing unit at Kot Sardar Kahn Singh on Sara-i-Mughal Raod in Pattoki tehsil of Kasur. The team found the industrial unit was using gas through direct supply and registered a case against the owners.

Sources said due to the pressure from the ministers, the FIA director had shut down the anti-gas theft unit and transferred all the team members including the assistant director, inspectors, and sub-inspectors who had raided the factory of PTI MNA Talib Nakai’s son
