The Foreign Office has reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to continue supporting the Kashmiris struggling for their just right to self-determination.

Three generations of Kashmiris have been struggling for their right endorsed by the UN, the FO spokesperson told the media during a weekly briefing.

At least 666 Kashmiris embraced martyrdom while hundreds have been made to bear the brutality of the Indian forces, he said as he shed light on Pakistan’s endeavors to support the cause, denouncing August 5, 2019, Indian action against Kashmiris.

The FO spokesperson shared with media persons the Prime Minister’s telephonic conversation with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The official added Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari attended the ASEAN Regional Ministerial meeting and met the reps of Singapore, Japan, Vietnam, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, and the European Union.

Asim Iftikhar Ahmed said this is not the first time that India has politicized the issue of listing terrorists by the UN Security Council's sanctions committee.                  

Rejecting Indian media's misleading and malicious reports about the sanctions committee meeting, he said this act is in violation of rules regarding confidentiality of the Committee meetings and due process.                  

Pakistan remained the worst victim of terrorism and has been submitting irrefutable evidence to the UN Security Council, regarding India's involvement in coordinating terror activities inside Pakistan.
