Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has said that the government is burdening the people instead of reducing its expenditure, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media men in Islamabad on Tuesday, Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said the economy of the country has been destroyed and the government was scaring the people through IPPs.
Hafiz Naee said the government should understand the psychology of the youth.
He said that oil smuggling can be stopped at the Pak-Iran border.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) did Rs1300 billion corruption instead of collecting taxes.
He suggested that direct tax should be collected instead of FBR.
Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that industrialists have concerns over government's trader-friendly scheme.
Pak-Iran gas pipeline is the need of the hour as 25 percent of gas needs will be met from Pak-Iran pipeline, Hafiz Naeem said.
On a question, Ameer JI said I don't want to talk about Faiz Hameed because this is an internal matter of the institution.
