Popular Pakistani actress Nimra Khan has foiled a horrifying Kidnapping attempt after bravely resisting her assailants.
The actress took to her Instagram handle and shared the terrible details regarding her kidnapping.
The actress revealed that the terrifying ordeal took place the previous day when she was waiting for her car outside a hotel and three armed men stopped near her. They attempted to forcefully drag her into their car at gunpoint. The actress, however, resisted the attackers and started running towards the pavement.
Despite her miserable condition, she mentioned that none of the nearby individuals came to her help.
In her emotional statement, Nimra expressed reservations, revealing that the armed men threatened her on the road and people were just watching and the kidnappers could have shot her in the back but nobody came forward. Then, miraculously she found a family passing by the road in a car along with the hotel staff, who came to her rescue.
Reflecting on the trouble, the tear-eyed Nimra posed a poignant question to her fellow citizens, "If women aren't safe in Pakistan, should we really be celebrating Pakistan Day? Can anyone confidently say that their sister, wife, daughter, or mother is safe in Pakistan? The answer, sadly, is no."
