Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam Monday said PM Imran has given directions to introduce a new ‘Air Pollution Plan’ to overcome the current deteriorating air pollution situation in the country.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, SAPM Aslam talking to media persons said they are coming up with an air pollution plan that will be implemented across Pakistan.
The SAPM said his government has a big problem with data collection because there are no monitoring stations in Pakistan.
He said funding for 10 monitoring stations has arrived and four stations will be installed in Lahore by June 2022.
Aslam said they are going to shift the public transport buses to electric buses to reduce the air pollution in the country.
