In an unfortunate incident at Bilawal Bhutto's rally in Gujranwala, Pakistan People’s Party leader Faisal Mir sustained injuries after falling from a stage, reported the 24NewsHd TV channel.
Immediate action by rescue teams led to his initial treatment and subsequently shifted him to General Hospital Lahore for further medical treatment.
Faisal Mir, the younger brother of famous journalist Hamid Mir and elder brother of caretaker provincial information minister Amir Mir, was part of the PPP Gujranwala Workers convention where Bilawal Bhutto addressed the party activists.
Upon arrival at General Hospital, Faisal Mir underwent a comprehensive examination, including a CT scan, which revealed a minor gash near the right side of his stomach.
According to doctors, his injury is not critical, however, he has been shifted to intensive care as a precautionary measure.
The doctors attending Faisal Mir emphasized that he was in stable condition and receiving the necessary care for a full recovery.
The incident prompted a visit from numerous dignitaries, including Provincial Minister Amir Mir, Rana Farooq Syed Khan, Tanveer Ashraf Qaira, Rana Jawad, Rana Rizwan, Chaudhry Nauman Yusuf, and Javed Akhtar. The political figures expressed concern for Faisal Mir's well-being and showed solidarity during their visit to the hospital.
