Petrol price may go up by Rs13 per litre

Due to increasing oil prices in the international market, prices of the petroleum products (POL) are likely to go up by Rs13 per litre in a couple of days from now as the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has started working on determining the new prices which will remain in effect for the next 15 days, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.  

In this connection, the Authority will send the summary to the Ministry of Finance tomorrow (February 14). 

Petrol’s price is likely to go up by Rs12 per liter, while that of High Speed Diesel (HSD) by Rs13 per liter.

The price of crude oil in the international market has reached $91 per barrel and is likely to increase in the next one or two days.
