Women thieves stole cash, gold ornaments and other valuables from a house in Liaquatabad area of Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The complainant told the police that he, along with his family, was out for the walima ceremony of his son when the incident of theft took place.
“The incident came to our knowledge from the footage of the cameras installed outside the house. When we returned home at 3am, the door was open,” he said.
“When we entered the house, we found all the cupboards opened. From the CCTV footage, it was found that three women entered the house and carried out the theft,” he added.
“Rs400,000 worth of cash and gold ornaments and other valuables worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were stolen from the house,” he stated.
“Three masked women can be seen entering the house at 11pm on the night of February 11. In the footage, it is clear that the women took a round of the house before entering it. At 11:48pm, women can be seen leaving the house with bags of stolen items,” he added.
A case of the incident was registered at Liaquatabad police station.
