Woman commits ‘suicide’ jumping off building in Lahore

 A woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping from the thirteen-floor of a building in Lahore on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to rescue and police sources, a woman, identified as 35-year-old Halima, allegedly jumped from the 13th floor of Goldcrest Mall, a shopping plaza in Lahore.

The incident resulted in her immediate demise, while her friend, Hamad was arrested by the police on the spot. The body of Halima, a resident of Cavalry Ground,  was promptly shifted to the mortuary for further procedures.

The police, along with forensic teams, collected evidence from the scene to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.

However, the exact nature of the event, whether it was a case of suicide or homicide, remains under investigation, as stated by the police.
