A gang involved in the sale and purchase of human kidneys has been detected at Manga Mandi, Raiwind, near Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to reports, Dilawar Hussain of Manga Mandi, who had a problem with his kidneys, was told by a man named Muneer to go to Taroz Hospital where he was informed that he would have to pay Rs3.5 million to Dr. Faheem Aslam who would donate him his kidneys.
Dilawar said after receiving the cash, Dr. Faheem and his colleague Dr. Bilal sent him to one hospital and another in Rawalpindi, Peshawar and Mingora, Swat for the kidneys transplant. “But after one month I lost contact with both of them since they both disappeared, and I could not have the kidney transplant either,” he said pessimistically.
