The people of Lahore will get face masks at their doorsteps free of cost via Pakistan Post Office postmen that can be reused by washing them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
As many as 10 containers of the 19 containers full of face masks have reached Lahore. The containers were part of a donation of eight million face masks offered by an American clothing company.
Lahore Division Commissioner Muhammad Usman announced that around 20 million washable face masks will arrive in the ongoing month of January in the provincial capital.
The Lahore Division Commissioner said, “Not a single penny from the national exchequer was spent on the purchase of the masks.”

He said that masks have been mandatory to wear for both unvaccinated and vaccinated persons and wearing masks would be beneficial to prevent smog effects while it also stops the corona spread.
