Singer Meesha Shafi Thursday shared the first hijab-wearing look of her character from the upcoming film ‘Mustache’ on her Instagram account.
Sharing the picture she also announced that the beautiful film has been selected for the ‘Narrative Feature Competition’ section at the prestigious SXSW this year.
‘Aaya Laariye’ singer termed the whole team of the movie ‘amazing’ by giving the caption, “Couldn’t have asked for a better team! You are all amazing.”
“So excited to announce that this beautiful film I did with so many beautiful and hardworking people has been selected in the ‘Narrative Feature Competition’ section at the prestigious SXSW this year”, she added.
In picture, Shafi can be seen wearing a white scarf and beige coat having an uneasy expression on her face that shows Meesha became confused to see something.
Rizwan Manji also shared the post on his Instagram. The caption reads: “Some really exciting news!!! Mustache will be premiering at @sxsw this March! Here are some first-look photos. The film has been directed by Imran J Khan starring Atharva Verma, Rizwan Manji, Ayana Manji, Alicia Silverstone, Hasan Minhaj, Shaheryar Rana, and Mojeane Sadr.
