The government should immediately solve the financial issue regarding the import of medicines and health-related items to keep sick humanity alive, reported 24NewsHD Tv channel.
In an emergency meeting of the Pakistan Medical Association Lahore held here on Friday, the office bears asked the government to avoid any kind of consultation with negative tendencies in the supply of health and life-saving drugs and medical equipment.
The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Nizami, President PMA Lahore. Prof. Dr. Malik Shahid Shaukat, Prof. Dr. Khalid Mehmood Khan, Dr. Iram Shahzai, Dr. Wajid Ali, Dr. Bushra Haq, Dr. Riaz Zulqarnain Aslam participated in the meeting.
PMA Lahore President Dr Ashraf Nizami demanded emergency measures from the government to remove the shortage of drugs in the market. He said that the supply of drugs should be ensured to save human lives.
They demanded the government consult the concerned individuals and organizations and make a human-friendly and actionable plan.
They urged the authorities to keep the lives of humanity and patients alive.
