PPP Chairman and former foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has vowed to press on with the struggle for creation of South Punjab province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to newsmen in Multan on Saturday, Bilawal Bhutto said the PPP had got a resolution passed from Senate regarding creation of the new province and it will continue such efforts in future.
Reiterating party promises to public on the eve of general elections, Bilawal said “We promise to eliminate inflation and unemployment, will double salaries and issue Kissan cards to labourers.”
He said the country would have to get rid of politics of hate and division. “We are contesting elections to serve masses, but other parties are going into polls to resolve their own issues,” he added.
“We want to become ladla (blue-eyed) of the people,” he said and added “PTI and PML-N are talking about politics of revenge.”
The former foreign minister said the PPP has a manifesto to bring the country our of the crisis. “We neither will bow to anyone nor will run away,” he added.
