Drafting for PSL-10 held in Lahore

The drafting of players for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) was held at Huzoori Bagh in Lahore on Monday in which six franchises picked their team members, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In the first pick in the Platinum category, Lahore Qalandars chose Daryl Mitchell, Karachi Kings chose David Warner and Abbas Afridi while Quetta Gladiators Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Faheem Ashraf.
Multan Sultans picked Michael Bracewell in the same category while Islamabad selected Matthew Short.
Peshawar Zalmi gave to Quetta Gladiators Mark Chapman.
Members of the national team also attended the ceremony.
Players from around the world got themselves registered for the drafting.
Kane Stuart Williamson, Daryl Mitchell, Tim Southee and Mark Chapman from New Zealand were registered.
Similarly, David Warner, Usman Khawaja, Matthew Short and Sean Abbott from Australia were registered.
From England, Jason Roy, Alex Hales, Zak Crawley were registered.
Similarly, Mustafeezur Rehman and Shakibul Hassan from Bangladesh, Mujeebur Rehman from Afghanistan and a large number of other foreign players were registered for the purpose.
Islamabad United chose Jason Holder in the diamond category.
Similarly, Karachi Kings chose Khushdil Shah, Lahore Qalandars Khoshal Parera, and Peshawar Zalmi fast bowler Muhammad Ali.
In Gold category, Islamabad United picked Ben Dwarshuis, Karachi Kings Amir Jamal, Multan Sultans Kamran Ghulam and Peshawar Zalmi Bangladesh’s Naheed Raana and Hussain Talat.
