PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif has condemned the unprovoked firing by Indian occupation forces across the Line of Control and said that India has gone insane.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Shehbaz said that continued ceasefire violations by India on the Line of Control and Working Boundary would not help India hide its war crimes in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He said that India is the only country, which has jeopardised the peace, security and stability of the entire region.
Shehbaz said these repeated ceasefire violations and targeting of civilian population appear to be New Delhi's strategy to trigger a war in the region just to divert the world’s attention from the Indian brutalities and oppression in the illegally annexed Occupied Kashmir.
The PML-N president, who is also leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, said that silence of the international community, especially the United Nations, shows their indifference to what the agents of destruction like India are doing to the world peace. He said the world should do its duty of stopping India from violating the international law instead of watching the situation as a silent spectator. Shehbaz lauded the Pakistani military's befitting response to the Indian aggression and prayed for recovery of the six civilians who were wounded in Indian firing.
