Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday accused the PML-N-led coalition government of planning rigging of the by-elections on 20 Punjab Assembly (PA) seats due to be held three days from now, on July 17, 2022, and laying its blame on the establishment instead, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference along with other PTI leaders at Punjab Assembly in Lahore, he said the state institutions should be aware that they had hired the services of people like Rana Sanaullah and Ata Tarar, who were in fact snakes in sleeves.
“Police’s raid on PTI’s corner meeting in Lahore last night is a case in point. Although it had been done on the orders of the Punjab government, but the impression was given as if a brigadier in the country’s secret agency was behind it. “When we probed into it, it dawned upon us that the concerned DSP was on the payroll of the PML-N candidate,” Fawad alleged.
He further said all this was done only to instill fear in the minds of PTI workers.
Sadly, he went on to add, such incidents are increasing day by day.
