Two people, including a woman, were killed when rival party resorted to firing at the premises of Lahore’s sessions court on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police said that they have arrested one of the two attackers who opened fire on the two who had come for a court appearance.
Islampura deputy superintendent of police arrested the accused with the help of the images obtained from the CCTV footage and shifted him to the local police station.
Soon afterwards, a heavy police contingent reached the site of the incident.
The deceased were identified as Amin and Sughran who had come to court to attend hearing of a case regarding killing Amanat Advocate, his wife and daughter in Chung area.
IGP takes notice of firing incident
Taking notice of the incident, Punjab Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Anwar sought a report from the concerned police officials.
He also ordered immediate arrest of the culprits.
