Attorney General for Pakistan (AGP) Mansoor Usman Awan has said that it’s premature to say whether the government would opt for filing a review appeal against the Supreme Court’s verdict in reserved seats case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Talking to media men in Islamabad on Saturday, Mansoor Awan said the government has not yet made decision to file a review appeal. “Only a short order was released so far and there was no discussion at the cabinet or higher level yet in this regard,” he added.

He, however, maintained that if the government decides to go for review appeal then it should do it after utmost “careful thinking”.

The AGP said though there was a discussion on the Supreme Court’s verdict but there was no decision on filing the review appeal.
