Ordering strict action against the violators of the kite-flying ban, Buzdar has sought a report from the CCPO Lahore about Sunday’s tragic incident.
The government has outlawed kite flying and the use of metallic strings as the sport has claimed so many lives across the country. The sports became dangerous when the kite flyers started using metallic strings for flying their kites.
Taking notice of the dangers associated with this sport, the government strictly prohibited the flying of kites in populated areas and the use of metallic strings and aerial firing which the jubilant kite flyers indulge in when they succeed in cutting the string of another kite flyer.
