At a time when hardly a dust has settled on the resignation given by Aitchison College, Lahore principal Michael A. Thompson after he accused the then Punjab governor Balighur Rehman of interference in the institution’s affairs that yet another case of a similar nature has come to light, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Sources have told 24News TV channel that the former chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Saqib Nisar crossed all limits in an effort to get his grandson made the head boy of his class.
On the other hand, reacting to interference in the affairs of the Principal Office by the former CJP, parents of students have said that this has set a wrong precedent.
The principal had tendered his resignation as a protest after the then provincial governor allowed a leave of absence and a complete fee waiver for a period of three years to two children of Ahad Cheema.
