With an aim to create awareness among the people, Sindh Minister Syeda Shehla Raza has announced that she would avoid public gatherings and shaking hands amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Shehla said she would not attend events like marriages and asked the citizens to limit the weddings to family members only.
She also stressed the need for following precautionary steps – including washing the hands regularly.
In a related development, hand sanitizers have been installed at all the entry points of the Sindh Assembly.
These measures are being introduced as the number of coronavirus cases have been increasing in the country with the most number of patients being reported in Sindh to 15.
Earlier, the Sindh High Court, following the steps of the Lahore High Court, had barred all the courts in the province from recording the daily attendance of employees through scanning/finger impressions.
