Karachi SSP removed from post

Karachi SSP Investigation-II (Crime Branch) Aijaz Ahmed Hashmi has been removed from his post for tampering with the record of Sindh Police Service Seniority, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
A case was registered against Aijaz Ahmed Hashmi in Methadar Police Station for forgery in seniority a few days ago, the TV channel reported. A notification has been issued in this regard.
Aijaz Ahmed was posted as Karachi SSP Investigation-II (Crime Branch) on 21 April, 2020.
