The stage has been set and chairs have been placed as preparations for Prime Minister Imran Khan’s address to a public gathering in Hafizabad today are nearing their completion, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
However, the name of MPA Mamoon Jafar Tarar, a close associate of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, is missing on the welcoming banners displayed in and around the jalsa’s venue.
It is told that the MPA is not on good terms with the local MNA, and that he will reach Hafizabad along with CM Buzdar from Lahore in a helicopter.
The local administration has swung into action to fill in the venue as patwaris and other departments’ employees have been asked to attend the event.
The education department has been directed to bring children to the venue by telling them that they are going to a funfair.
