Sugar inquiry commission summons Usman Buzdar

Sugar Inquiry Commission summoned Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar today to record his statement.

The commission called the Punjab chief minister for granting subsidy of Rs 3 billion to 11 sugar mills last year. Usman Buzdar will record his statement before the inquiry commission in Islamabad.

The inquiry commission also gave option to Buzdar to record his statement via video link.

Earlier on Tuesday, Federal Minister Asad Umar appeared before the sugar inquiry commission and answered their queries.
