A speeding car on Thursday crushed a group of beggars which resulted in the death of six persons and injuries to five others in Wazirabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The victims were standing on a road outside Al-Khalil Mosque when the speeding car being driven by a young driver hit them.
Sources in the Rescue 112 said that the dead were mostly beggars.
The driver, Tayyab, had come to Wazirabad from Lahore to celebrate Eid with his relatives.
