Another fruitful effort by PCB chairman; Ireland's cricket team to visit Pakistan in August 2025

Cricket Ireland chairman agrees to hold a series between Pakistan and Irish women cricket teams

In another fruitful effort of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Syed Moshin Raza Naqvi, the Cricket Ireland chairman announced the Irish team's visit to Pakistan next year in August.

According to the 24News HD TV channel report, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi called on Cricket Ireland Chairman Brian McNeice in Dublin on Monday.

The Cricket Ireland chairman warmly welcomed Mohsen Naqvi and presented a souvenir of Ireland team shirt and cap to him.

Both the heads of the cricket bodies of their countries also held a special meeting and also agreed to hold a series between the women's cricket teams of Pakistan and Ireland.

Brain McNiece also confirmed that the Irish women's cricket team's visit to Pakistan will also be reviewed soon.

During the meeting, Cricket Ireland Chairman Brian McNeice said that the Irish cricket team will visit Pakistan in August 2025 for playing a good series of matches.

The Cricket Ireland chairman also welcomed holding of Champions Trophy 2025 in Pakistan and said Pakistan has always provided the best security for international tournaments.

On this occasion, PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi thanked Brian McNiece for the best arrangements for the pakistani team's visit to Ireland.

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi assured the Cricket Ireland that foolproof arrangements would be made for all the teams participating in the Champions Trophy.

Cricket Ireland, officially the Irish Cricket Union, is the national governing body for cricket on the island of Ireland, and oversees the national men's and women's cricket teams.
