Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has announced forthcoming plans to fulfill the government's pledge of providing free electricity up to 300 units, a move set to benefit numerous households across the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference at Hyderabad on Sunday, the Chief Minister expressed confidence in the PPP's ability to meet the expectations of the people of Sindh, citing PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto's directive to expedite clean water projects within the next five years for the whole Sindh province.
Additionally, the introduction of the Kisan Card and the successful launch of the Benazir Labour Card were highlighted during the presser as key achievements in the government's efforts to provide targeted assistance to farmers and laborers.
The minister said following the catastrophic floods of 2022, the government had made significant strides in rehabilitating affected people, with six 6 lakh housing units already constructed out of the 2.1 million planned.
Murad Ali Shah said that during a tour of the province, he inspected the restoration progress of the irrigation network devastated by the floods.
