November 13, 2020 09:42 PM

Another 20 doctors at Rawalpindi’s Shaheed Benazir Hospital have tested positive for coronavirus, while test results of eight doctors are still awaited.

The infected doctors, who were working at the Medical Unit of the hospital, quarantined themselves as soon as their test reports came in.

Also, three staff nurses, a ward boy, a technician and a sanitary worker of the hospital have tested positive for coronavirus. On an average, six staff members from every unit of the hospital are catching virus on a daily basis.

On the other hand, the district administration has failed to have the coronavirus SOPs enforced in the district. Also, the hospital administration has made inadequate arrangements to deal with the second wave of the pandemic.
