Two policemen were martyred in a remote-controlled bomb blast near a dam in Tehsil Khar in Bajaur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Reportedly, some miscreants on Saturday blew away a police van using a remote-controlled device hitting it near Raghan Dam. As a result, two law enforcers were martyred on the spot.
Police have cordoned off the area and statred a search operation.
On Oct 20, four security personnel embraced martyrdom and two others injured in Bajaur in a roadside remote-controlled bomb blast.
A remote-controlled bomb was fixed at the roadside in Tehsil Mamond in Bajaur district.
District Police Officer (DPO) Bajaur Abdul Samad Khan confirmed that at least four security personnel, including two policemen and two FC personnel, were martyred in the remote-controlled bomb blast.
The DPO Bajaur said Abdul Samad, Noor Rehman, Jamshed and Mudassar were among the martyred police and FC personnel.
He said that the injured personnel were shifted to the District Hospital, Bajaur and security forces cordoned off the area after the blast for the search operation.
