Good news for exporters: Centre plans uninterrupted gas supply to export sector

The federal cabinet has resolved the issue of gas supply to the export sector, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.
The government took the step to increase productivity.
Caretaker Federal Minister of Commerce Dr Gohar Ejaz has time and again expressed his resolve to propel domestic exports to an ambitious target of $80 billion.
He vowed to tackle complexities head-on in order to address the challenges looming in the commercial sector.
He stressed that he would work to swiftly steer state enterprises towards profitability in the pursuit of economic prosperity.
In a bid to foster innovation and industry growth, he revealed plans to launch flagship projects within the Special Economic Zones with a specific focus on the garments sector.
The business community welcomed his appointment as the minister while recognising his extensive experience and dedication to the betterment of the nation.
The government's gas supply plan will increase the productivity of export sectors to 100 per cent.
