Govt removes ex-minister's name from  ECL

The federal government has removed the name of former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf minister Afzal Sahi’s name from the ECL, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

The federal interior ministry took the step following the recommendations of the ECL committee on the instructions of the prime minister.

Special approval was also taken from the federal cabinet to remove Ali Afzal Sahi's name from ECL.

Afzal Sahi is the son-in-law of the Lahore High Court chief justice. There are also possibilities of Ali Afzal Sahi joining PML-N
