Saad Rafique advocates economic charter for Pakistan

Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) central leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has stressed the urgent need for an economic charter for Pakistan, underscoring the necessity of a socio-economic covenant, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a joint press conference with the Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) general secretary Shah Owais Noorani in Karachi on Sunday, he also shed light on the substantial discussions that took place in the meeting between the leaders of both parties signifying that substantial progress was made during the talks.

The leaders discussed pivotal concerns and potential electoral alliances, demonstrating a substantial convergence in their perspectives.

It is pertinent that a delegation of PML-N-led by Sardar Ayaz Sadiq met the JUP leaders to discuss the possibility of election alliances for the forthcoming general elections in the country.

Nehal Hashmi, Bashir Memon, Ali Akbar Gujjar, Shah Mohammad Shah, and other leaders were also included in the delegation.

Shah Owais Noorani extended his gratitude to the central leadership of the PML-N for the meeting.

Saad Rafiq emphasized that both the PML-N and JUP were together during the Pakistan Democratic Movement in the PTI government.

Both leaders highlighted the significance of political unity in Sindh, emphasizing the need for attention to both Karachi and rural Sindh.

Khawaja emphasized that Karachi deserves more attention than Lahore and Punjab and should serve as a role model.

Additionally, he raised the issue of waste on Karachi's roads, advocating for a governance model that brings relief to the people of Karachi.

Both parties declared their commitment to participate in the upcoming elections and particularly in Sindh, expressing confidence in their team's capabilities to achieve favorable outcomes.

Saad Rafique concluded by affirming their joint determination to advocate for Kashmir and Palestine.

The leaders of the two prominent political parties agreed to fight for the cases of Kashmir and Palestine in unison.
