For the second time in November, a proposal has been made to increase the petrol and high speed diesel (HSD) prices, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Sources have told 24News TV channel that an increase has been suggested in the wake of a high premium placed on the petroleum products.
They have informed that Rs2.58 per unit hike has been proposed in petrol’s price while Rs5.91 per unit in that of the HSD.
If approved, each liter of petrol, which presently costs Rs248.38 will cost Rs250.96.
Similarly, each liter of HSD which is presently available at Rs255.14 will be available at Rs261.05, sources have informed.
