Hina Altaf and Imran Abbas pairing in upcoming drama 'Hijr' disappoints fans

Pakistani actress Hina Altaf and actor Imran Abbas are set to appear in the upcoming drama serial 'Hijr' but unfortunately the netizens are not happy with their on-screen pairing.

The drama serial is written by famous Pakistani writer Zanjabeel Asim Shah, directed by Syed Ahmed Kamran, and produced by Moomal Productions and MD Productions.

Hum TV today shared the beautiful teasers featuring Imran Abbas and Hina Altaf. The cast also includes Washma Fatima, Haroon Shahid, Shabbir Jan, Tara Mehmood, Hareem Sohail, Haya, Aini Zaidi, Kunwar Nafee, Fahima Awan, Paras Masroor, Zarafsha, Ramsha, Faizan, Naveen Naqvi & Others. Fans are disappointed with Hum TV’s new pairing. Many are saying that Imran Abbas looks good with either Neelam Muneer or Ayeza Khan. A few are saying that Hina Altaf is looking younger than Imran Abbas.

Abbas made his acting debut with Umrai Jaan Ada in 2003 and later on appeared in numerous serials. He was widely recognized after portraying Hammad Raza in the 2011 spiritual-romantic series Khuda Aur Mohabbat which proved to be a turning point in his career.

Abbas is best known for his roles Adeel in Di;-e-Muztar (2013) for which he received a nomination for Best Actor Popular in Hum Awards and Hadi Salman in Alvida (2015) which earned him Best on-screen couple with Sanam Jung.

His other notable works include Akbari Asghari (2011), Mera Naam Yousaf Hai (2015), Tum Kon Piya (2016), Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hai (2017) and Koi Chand Rakh (2018).

Hina Altaf made her television debut as a VJ. She briefly hosts the teen show Girls Republic. She made her acting debut with a supporting role in Maryam Kese Jiye in 2015.

She subsequently starred as the titular character in the 2015 romance Ek Thi Misaal and gained wider recognition for playing a rape victim in the highly successful social drama Udaari (2016),  Altaf has since played leading roles in several series, including the romantic series Dil-e-Janam (2017), Gumrah (2017), Pagli (2017), Aatish (2018) and Dil-e-Gumshuda (2019).
