An agreement reached between Ministry of Religious Affairs and Pakistan International Airline (PIA) regarding Hajj flights under which the national carrier will provide travel facilities to 35,000 pilgrims during Hajj 2025, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
According to spokesperson for Ministry of Religious Affairs, the agreement was signed yesterday at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Spokesperson for Religious Affairs said PIA CEO Air Vice Marshal Aamir Hayat and Additional Secretary Religious Affairs Dr. Syed Attaur Rahman signed the agreement.
PIA CEO Air Vice Marshal Aamir Hayat reiterated his commitment to provide the best facilities to pilgrims.
Agreements with Saudi Airlines and other local airlines will also be finalized soon, spokesperson for Religious Affairs said.
