Pakistan cricket team captain Muhammad Rizwan on Wednesday said that although the vacuum created due to the absence of players like Fakhar Zaman, Muhammad Amir, Iftikhar, Shadab and Imad Waseem could not be filled, still just like was the case in the one-day series, the team would play ‘attacking cricket’ in T-20 format of the game as well, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a press conference in Brisbane, Rizwan said that names of the players for the first T-20 against Australia had been finalized. “However, I want to keep the game plan secret,” he added.

The skipper said that if the Indian team came to Pakistan, it would be welcomed. “KL Rahul, Surya Kumar and others will be welcome.”

However, he said, it was up to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to take final decision in this regard. “As far as we are concerned, we will certainly welcome them.”

National team practises at GABA

Team Pakistan had a three-hour practice session at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, commonly known as GABA.

The players did physical drills besides doing fielding, bowling and batting practice.

The first T-20 between Pakistan and Australia will start at 6:00 in the evening (Australia time).
