Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday submitted an application to Lahore’s district administration, seeking permission for a public gathering at Greater Iqbal Park (Minar-e-Pakistan) on the homecoming of former prime minister and the party supremo Nawaz Sharif on October 21, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Former Punjab minister Bilal Yasin submitted the application.
LHC disposes of PTI Lahore rally case
On the other hand, the PTI will now not be able to hold a public gathering at Liberty Chowk on October 15 after the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday, while expressing its satisfaction on the report submitted by the DC Lahore detailing reasons for denying permission to the PTI to hold the rally, disposed of the case.
