Aleema, Uzma Khan shifted to district jail Jehlum from Adiala

A sessions court in Islamabad on Saturday rejected a plea to extend physical remand of two sisters of PTI founder and ex-prime minister Imran Khan and sent them to jail on judicial remand, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.


During hearing of the case, police personnel tried to grab Aleema Khan from arms to take her outside the court. This triggered a clash between Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) lawyers and the policemen inside the courtroom. Amid the commotion, the judge summoned Aleema Khan and Uzma Khan to the rostrum and ordered all irrelevant persons to leave the courtroom at once. Aleema Khan requested the court to grant her permission to hold meeting with her family members. The court ordered relevant authorities to allow meetings of Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan with their family members and adjourned the hearing of the case.


Meanwhile, Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan have been shifted to Jehlum jail from Adiala Jail Rawalpindi amid tight secuirty arrangments. PTI founder's sisters were jducial after completion of their physical remand.  Imran Khan's sisters were arrested from D Chowk on October 5 during PTI rally.
