The new Bachelor of Science (BS) orientation session was held at Govt Graduate College of Science Wahdat Road Lahore on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The event marked the official commencement of the academic year, attended by a large number of students, faculty members, and staff.
Principal Dr. Abdul Hameed welcomed the new batch of students, emphasizing the importance of academic excellence and personal growth throughout their time at the institution.
He expressed optimism about the upcoming academic year and encouraged students to make the most of the resources and opportunities available at the college.
Vice Principal Zahid Rafiq Bhatti also addressed the students, reinforcing the college’s commitment to providing a nurturing academic environment that fosters intellectual and personal development.
Chairman of the Proctorial Board, Saeed Paul, outlined the guidelines for maintaining a conducive learning environment, urging students to adhere to the college’s rules and regulations.
Prof. Abdul Raoof from the Information Technology (IT) department also spoke at the event, sharing insights about the growing relevance of IT in modern education and career opportunities.
The regular classes for the new BS session will officially begin on October 14, 2024.
