Federal government has finalized all out arrangements for SCO Summit which is going to be held in Islamabad during October 15-16, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The federal capital has been turned into a city of lights and variety of flowers can be seen blooming besides roads which are making the environment splendid.
Islamabad’s highway from Faizabad to Rawal Chowk has been carpeted and green plants on the roadside have made the environment very pleasant. Shahrah-e-Dastur is shining with variety of lights at night. The palm trees in the red zone are decorated in a very attractive manner.
The main streets and roads have been painted in different colors to welcome the foreign guests. The footpaths and underpasses have been painted in colorful designs.
The cultural shades of Pakistan are being highlighted by installing artificial horse and cart at Rawal Chowk. Natural and artificial colorful plants in Sarina Chowk and D Chowk brightening up the scenery.
Meanwhile, traffic diversion plan has been issued by police during Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Islamabad. Traffic Police will implement the diversion plan on 14, 15, 16 October 2024. More than 1100 traffic officers will perform their duties to implement the traffic management plan. Traffic police have advised public to use Ninth Avenue from Margalla Road for Rawalpindi. Drivers are also urged to use Ninth Avenue from Margalla Road if they want to go to Rawalpindi.
