In a tragic landslide incident in the Mohri area of Sarai Saleh, Haripur, six homes were buried under debris, killing several livestock and causing extensive property damage, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday.
According to the report, the landslide, which has been occurring over the past three days, has left the affected families homeless and without assistance from the district administration.
Local residents, hearing the landslide’s rumbling, managed to escape the collapsing houses, but their homes and possessions were destroyed.
Despite the severity of the situation, no official rescue operations have begun, leaving the victims to fend for themselves under the open sky.
Two days ago, another landslide in the same region destroyed four homes, but the district authorities have yet to take action.
The affected families are appealing to the government for immediate assistance, while local villagers continue relief efforts on their own.
