The Lahore High Court has summoned DIG Investigation Zeeshan Asghar to appear on September 19, expressing dissatisfaction with police efforts in the case of a missing three-year-old girl, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.
Justice Ali Zia Bajwa, presiding over the petition filed by Zarina Bibi, the mother of the abducted child, criticized the police for their inability to make progress in the case despite the passage of three years.
During the hearing, the court reviewed the investigation report but found it unsatisfactory, with Justice Bajwa questioning the lack of tangible results. The court has ordered the DIG Investigation to personally explain the situation in the next hearing.
