Aleem Khan gets portfolio of Punjab food minister

Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Aleem Khan on Tuesday given a portfolio of Punjab food minister as the office was vacant after the resignation of Samiullah Chaudhry in the wake of sugar and wheat crises report released by the FIA earlier this month.
Aleem Khan took the oath of a minister on Monday at Governor’s House, after remaining in silence for over a year.
The political development surfaced after Abdul Aleem Khan called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at Chief Minister's office on Sunday to discuss matters of mutual interest and the current political situation.
Last month, Aleem Khan presented Rs20 million cheque to the Prime Minister Imran Khan for PM corona relief fund.
