After giving birth to a daughter, the husband along with his brother, sister and brother-in-law killed his wife by cutting her throat with a sharp edged weapon in the limits of Dohman police station Chakwal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

As soon as the incident was reported, a heavy police force reached the spot and took the body into custody and shifted it to District Headquarters Hospital Chakwal for post-mortem.

The victim's father, while applying to the police, stated that my 24-year-old daughter was married a year ago and a month ago she gave birth to a daughter.

The whole family, including the husband, was very angry and watched her with hateful eyes.

Yesterday evening, I spoke to my daughter on the phone and the daughter told me that these people will kill me. When I reached the spot in the morning, Ulfat Naseer was killing my daughter by cutting her throat with the help of his brother, sister and her husband.

After registering a case, the police arrested the accused Ulfat Naseer while raids are being conducted to arrest the other accused.
