Pak forces on Saturday defused two ‘pressure cooker bombs’ and foiled a big terror plan to sabotage the Independence Day celebrations in Peshawar.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the terrorists fixed two time-bombs in the pressure-cookers and installed them with a tower of electricity in Urmtar Bala, a suburb area of the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Every pressure cooker was contained six to seven kilograms of explosives material that was attached to a time device.

The terrorists had a plan of destruction at a large level in the western border city on the eve of national celebrations going on across the country.

Anyhow, the law enforcement forces became to know the terror plan and succeeded to foil it in time on August 14.
