Pakistan is one of the best ones, says Sammy after getting Sitara-i-Pakistan

West Indies cricket legend and T20 World Cup-winning captain Darren Sammy is truly humbled after he was conferred upon Sitara-i-Pakistan by President of Pakistan Arif Alvi on the eve of the Independence Day of the country.
Sammy was influential in making the Pakistan Super League successful and bringing cricketing action back to the country’s grounds after almost a decade.
He took to Twitter to show his gratitude to the Pakistani people and the government and wrote.
“Once again I’m truly humbled for this. Cricket gave me some amazing experiences and Pakistan is one of the best ones. Happy Independence Day #PakistanZindabad”
