On the occasion of Pakistan's 76th Independence Day, a three-day event was held at the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Consulate in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
The colours of Independence Day were also sprinkled in the UAE Consulate, UAE Consul General Bakhit Atiq al-Rumiti celebrated Independence Day with deaf children.
On the occasion, Consul General Bakhit Atiq al-Rumiti congratulated the entire nation of Pakistan on the eve of the 76th Independence Day on behalf of the UAE Government.
Independence Day celebrations have been going on at the UAE Consulate for the last three days.
However, the UAE consulate was decorated with Pakistani flags, buntings, balloons and electric kettles.
Among the children, diplomats and citizens participating in the ceremony held at the consulate, badges of Pakistan, national flags and shields of honour were also distributed.
