One man was killed while 7 others got injured in an explosion in Quetta’s commercial area Liaquat Bazaar on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Rescue, police and other law enforcement agencies reached the site and shifted the victim to the civil hospital. An emergency was declared in the hospital.
Initial reports said the blast was made with an explosive device that detonated in a busy area of the provincial capital.
The deceased was identified as Irfanullah son of Haji Amanullah. The injured were identified as Muhammad son of Azim, Zainullah, Habibur Rahman, Sagar Govind, Yusuf Masih and Shabir Muhammad.
So far, no terror group has claimed responsibility for the explosion.
