The US dollar saw an increase of 34paisas on the first business day of the week, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
During the inter-bank trading, the one dollar went upto Rs160.60 in the day. However, at the close of the day, the US dollar was being traded for Rs160.47, according to the State Bank of Pakistan.
On the other hand, the one euro was being traded for Rs194.92 after an increase of 79paisas. The British pound, which has been seeing a surge all around the world on the back of start of vaccination for the deadly coronavirus and extension in the Brexit talks, saw an increase of Rs3.68 and was being traded for Rs214.93.
According to the Exchange Companies Association, the US dollar say an increase of 20paisas against Pak Rupee and was being traded for Rs160.70. Euro saw a surge of 50paisa as it was being sold for Rs195 while the British pound saw an increase of Rs1 and was being sold at Rs215.
